Dodgers Win 7th Straight Behind Ryu’s Gem

Written by:

Hyun-Jin Ryu continued to pitch like the best pitcher in baseball on Tuesday when he threw 7 scoreless innings and allowed just 3 hits as the Dodgers cruised to their 7th straight win with a 9-0 victory over the Diamondbacks.

Ryu made it look easy, despite the fact that Dodger fielders committed 3 errors behind him. He just continued to induce ground balls and get outs when he needed them. He now has 9 wins on the year with a 1.35 ERA.

Dodgers hitters also made it look easy as they scored 9 runs against the D-backs. It started in the first inning when Cody Bellinger hit a two-run triple off the center field wall.

Bring your brooms to Arizona because the Dodgers are going for the sweep at 12:40 pm. Kenta Maeda will go for the Dodgers and will try to carry the momentum from his last start over to this one. Jon Duplantier will start for the D-backs.
